The God Code

Author and computer systems designer Gregg Braden wrapped this entire book around the premise that God’s name is literally encoded into every human body. According to Braden’s logic, the basic elements of DNA–hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and carbon–directly translate into specific letters of the Hebrew alphabets (YHVA), which then translate into the original name of God. Braden’s hope is that knowing that God’s signature is carried within each cell of the estimated six billion humans on earth will give humankind the evidence we need to overcome our differences and renew our faith:

Beyond Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Shinto, Native, Aboriginal, white, black, red, or yellow; man, woman, or child, the message reminds us that we are human. As humans, we share the same ancestors and exist as the children of the same Creator. In the moments that we doubt this one immutable truth, we need look no further than the cells of our body to be reminded. This is the power of the message within our cells.

One could argue that this melding of spirituality and science may be the next frontier in human evolution. Nonetheless, skeptics could also argue that this DNA=YHVA equation is an eerie coincidence, instead of a quantum breakthrough–like folding a $20 bill in a certain shape and seeing the twin towers in flames (Braden dispels such skepticism by asserting that the “odds that this relationship has occurred by chance are approximately 1 in 200,000″). This is neither a consistent or easy read. Some passages are filled with dense, analytical stretches of cross referencing ancient texts with modern science. Others are more prosaic as Braden explains his beautifully optimistic hope for peace on Earth. –Gail Hudson

To Those Born During the Years 1920-1979

TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED the 1930’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s!!

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.

They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn’t get tested for diabetes.

Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking.

As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster seats, seat belts or air bags.

Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle.

We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this.

We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank Kool-aid made with sugar, but we weren’t overweight because,

WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.

No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K.

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem..

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo’s, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD’s, no surround-sound or CD’s, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet or chat rooms…….

WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents.

We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.

We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes.

We rode bikes or walked to a friend’s house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!

Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn’t had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!!

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!

These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever!

The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas.

We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL!

If YOU are one of them CONGRATULATIONS!

You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives for our own good. While you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave (and lucky) their parents were.

Kind of makes you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn’t it?

The quote of the month is by Jay Leno:
“With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?”

A Family Poem

F A M I L Y

I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
‘Oh excuse me please’ was my reply.
He said, ‘Please excuse me too;
I wasn’t watching for you.’
We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said goodbye.
But at home a different story is told,
How we treat our loved ones, young and old.
Later that day, cooking the evening meal,
My son stood beside me very still.
When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
‘Move out of the way,’ I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little heart broken.
I didn’t realize how harshly I’d spoken.
While I lay awake in bed,
God’s still small voice came to me and said,
‘While dealing with a stranger,
Common courtesy you use,
But the family you love, you seem to abuse..
Go and look on the kitchen floor,
You’ll find some flowers there by the door.
Those are the flowers he brought for you.
He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.
He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,
You never saw the tears that filled his little eyes .’
By this time, I felt very small,
And now my tears began to fall. .
I quietly went and knelt by his bed;
‘Wake up, little one, wake up,’ I said.
‘Are these the flowers you picked for me?’
He smiled, ‘I found ‘em, out by the tree.
I picked ‘em because they’re pretty like you.
I knew you’d like ‘em, especially the blue.’
I said, ‘Son, I’m very sorry for the way I acted today;
I shouldn’t have yelled at you that way.’
He said, ‘Oh, Mom, that’s okay.
I love you anyway.’
I said, ‘Son, I love you too,
And I do like the flowers, especially the blue.’

Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed, don’t you think?

Jesus freaks .. get on my nerves!

I like YouTube .. I mean, who don’t? One of my favorite folders is a collection entitled “Paranormal”.  I have a small collection of saved video’s that others have posted talking about Astral Travel, Akashic Records, Alternative Realities, and so on.. so forth…

Well today I get this message from a person I have never heard of before:

i hope i reach u in time im pleading w/u repent of your sins and believe in the lord Jesus Christ and u will be saved www.chick.com is a great site please dont play w/paranormal

Now don’t get me wrong, I love the bible’s teachings, I also believe in higher power.  So in reply I sent the following:

Jesus turned water into wine, said our bodies were our temples, came back to life .. and in his teachings he said: We are children of god and have his spirit within us, only when we recognize that we are one with god, and that the power is within us - will we be able to receive the gifts prepared for us in the kingdom in heaven.

You are the people who give Christianity a bad name. You’re small minded ways take away from so many who may never find God because they are too busy being brainwashed by you, who has been brainwashed by someone else -  deceived by the evil forces who use your weakness as their vessel.

You repent. I have God in me. And it is because I have a real connection with my god energy that I can love the earth - and all things seen and unseen and feel comfortable that the spirit world is not evil ways - only lies told to us by greedy, money hungry tyrants to take our god power away from us and keep like little sheep needy for their protection.

Sure, there are evils within ouji boards and black witch craft arts. But if you go around accusing and being judgmental - it is your soul who will never progress to the kingdom that awaits.

So save yourself and repent for all those whom you may have turned away from the God powers.

And hope I never meet you in person or I will cast a demon up your ass.

So I guess it started off ok - I had a point to make that Jesus was a great energy healer, psychic, and everything in the bible is paranormal by my definition .. but by the end I was irritated with the NERVE of someone telling me to repent of me sins as they judgmentally invade my life with their belief system, and follow up telling me what not to do in my life. I just couldn’t help myself with that last comment at the end. *sigh*
