I used to be “that girl your momma warned you about” … I was raw, rebellious, and pure energy. I love to think, learn and challenge the “truths” we are all spoon fed from the time of birth.
My momma was a free thinker too, although I grew up a single child in my grandparents home until I was 13 when I moved from upper class suburbia to the slums of west side Columbus Ohio, soon to move again to a 300 acre farm in Southern Ohio. I was no stranger to culture shock and adaptation.
I married young to “get out of the nest” and flew to Florida when I was 16. By age 21 I had lived in 7 states Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Georgia, West Virginia and Virginia. In Ohio I found myself in trouble with the law for writing bad checks.
A year of my life was lost within several jails, four months in prison, thousands in fines, and 4 years probation was the cost of my check writing joy ride. I was transported over 300 miles and in front of 3 judges in my nightgown and socks!
I’ve come a long way baby …
I’ve just received my Bachelors degree in business administration. Major in marketing.
Certified project management, human resources, windows xp, and computer diagnosis. An ministers ordainment, several course certifications in business management, marketing and internet marketing.
And like a good wine, I just keep getting better with age!
